Come along and learn safe knife skills in the fresh air at the Go Local Food field and make your own wooden spoon with Steve from Northern Wood Monkey.
No previous woodworking experience is necessary, though those with knowledge of working with wood will still find fresh challenges in the hand-carved spoon.
In a small socially distanced group, we will learn safe grips and cutting techniques and go home with a beautiful spoon.
Course costs £25 and will run for 2½ hours with a flexible, relaxed finish time. This event is for people aged 18 years and over.
